The Implementation Assistance Programme (IAP) software is furnished
for the purpose of assisting States Parties in implementing
their Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) obligations.
This version (1.1) is assumed to be error free, but
has NOT been validated by either the Technical Secretariat
of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons or any
other independent entity. Therefore, this version of the IAP should
NOT be used as the sole methodology for implementing your CWC obligations.This programme comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under certain conditions as specified below.
NO WARRANTY MEANS:
1. BECAUSE THE IAP PROGRAMME IS FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAMME, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING. IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL ANY PARTY WHO MAY REDISTRIBUTE THE PROGRAMME AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAMME (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAMME TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMMES), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING AND DISTRIBUTION

You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of the IAP software as you receive it, in any medium, provided that you conspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy an appropriate disclaimer of warranty; keep intact all the notices that refer to this Disclaimer and to the absence of any warranty; and give any other recipients of the IAP software a copy of this Disclaimer along with the software.
